‘SNL’ Reveals The Final Hosts Of The Season, Including The Triumphant Return Of Drake

Saturday Night Live has revealed who will be serving as host and musical guest for the final episodes of the season. Don’t worry, Russell Crowe isn’t coming back for a surprise return.

Brie Larson and Alicia Keys had already been announced as the combo for this weekend’s edition of SNL, so let’s spring to the freshly announced names, shall we? May 14’s go-around of Saturday Night Live will see popular recording artist Drake taking on the dual roles of host and musical guest. It’ll be his second time performing double duty on the seemingly immortal comedy/variety show and maybe he’ll dust off his Katt Williams impression again. Or he could just spend 90 minutes showing a PowerPoint presentation on Toronto landmarks. Dude sorta has a free pass these days.

The 41st season finale will also feature someone with a bit of Saturday Night Live experience. Former cast member Fred Armisen returns to Studio 8H for his inaugural stint as host on May 21 and he’ll be joined by rising Aussie singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett. Who knows which Armisen characters will reemerge (Ian Rubbish? Fericito? Infrequent Late Night with Seth Meyers bandleader?), but odds are there will probably be a cameo or two to help cap off another year of things being done in a live format on a Saturday night.
