After Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did Airplane!, I’m pretty sure that opened the door for all NBA players to want to make a jump (or at least a cameo) to the silver screen. (See: Quentin Richardson, Darius Miles and Michael Olowokandi in Van Wilder.)
