When I saw this play live yesterday all I could think was, “What are you doing?!” With the Heat up 10 and 1:42 left to play, Dwyane Wade decided to get his Lollapalooza on. Probably not the smartest play at the time…
Was this a smart play?
I know what Wade was thinking…”I need to see some of those titties!”. One of those chicks on the right was fucking smoking. My brother and I were arguing about the difference between hockey and basketball when Wade did this (and right when LeBron did that insane fucking oop) and basketball fans being a lot hotter than hockey bitches, as well as the once a game jaw dropping athletic plays that happen were the only reasons I could come up to even watch the nba lately.
slow news day eh?
With his history of injuries, that play was ABSOLUTELY stupid. Dwade be gettin too excited at ends of games the Heat have wrapped up already…
Jumping in a crowd of people isn’t an injury risk, it’s just a hustle play. Jumping on the scorer’s table, now that can be viewed as a dumb move.
The crowd parted like the Red Sea
Jeff Van gundy’s comment was hilarious.
When your running full speed the last thing you wanna do is trip and fall head first into video cameras. and if you ever ran the 40 yard dash then you know it takes more than 3 steps to stop completely especially on a hardwood floor. id rather run into a padded seat then risk my knees going up against a sea of cameras
how is sprinting from half court on a fast break and then trying to save a horrible pass from going out of bounce FAKE HUSTLE, regardless if he jumped into the crowd or not. if he stopped when he knew he couldnt reach the pass then i would say youre somewhat correct but since he hustled to the ball like he was a rookie trying to make the team then id have to say you dont know what playoff basketball is.
Too bad this didn’t occur in Boston… the Boston fans would’ve let Wade split his head open.
Playoff basketball is about playing HARD or playing SMART.
Dwyane Wade didn’t effectively do either on that play.
so running out full sprint on a fast breaks is not playing hard? or noticing that there is a fast break oppurtunity is not playing smart? or trying to save the ball even after your teammate throws a bad pass aint playing hard? or knowing that you can hurt yourself by running into video cameras so you jump to avoid getting hurt aint playing smart?
