You can’t really fault Quincy Pondexter for the Grizzlies getting swept by San Antonio in the Western Conference Finals. He averaged 15.3 points a night in the series, and scored at least 15 in three games, including 22 in Game 4. So, in a way, he deserves a pat on the back for playing his best basketball when the stakes were highest. We think Miss Tennessee is solid compensation.
Through Twitter, Pondexter hooked up with Chandler Lawson, who won her crown last summer, and somehow secured a date. Let’s hope the Tennessee queen is a big fan of The Lumineers. That way the two of them can have something to talk about.
