Video: Solomon Hill Drives And Throws Down The Facial On Tristan Thompson

The Cleveland Cavaliers came into Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday night exuding confidence and running on all cylinders, as they had won their last 12 straight. On the other end of the floor, the Indiana Pacers were looking to gain momentum heading into the last week before the All-Star break, as they sit three games out of the final playoff spot in the East.

Coming out of halftime with an eight-point deficit, the Pacers shifted gears in the second half, especially in the final 12 minutes. Indiana began their 36-point fourth quarter with a bang, which saw the dunk on the night in our book. After receiving the pass from Luis Scola at the elbow, Solomon Hill took advantage of Scola’s proceeding screen to drive into the lane, glide past LeBron James and Matthew Dellavedova, and finish with a filthy, one-handed smash over Tristan Thompson:

The noticeable stir from the crowd and the reaction from the Pacers’ bench echoed the viewers’ response after witnessing the former Arizona Wildcat destroy the rim as well as Thompson’s ego for a moment.

All of Indy’s starters scored in double figures including the 23 year-old Hill, who finished with 11 points on 5-8 shooting, as the Pacers came back to snap the Cavs’ 12-game winning streak with a 103-99 win on Friday night.
