James Harden Drops The Lefty Hammer On Anthony Davis And Omer Asik

So much for Anthony Davis’ MVP candidacy…

Not actually, of course. If The Brow had a legitimate chance to win the Maurice Podoloff Trophy, getting dunked on by another candidate certainly wouldn’t doom him. But the narrative sure does fit, especially when James Harden continues staking his claim to the award on a game-by-game basis.

The Houston Rockets MVP candidate has 22 points, five rebounds, and 10 assists through the third quarter. Davis’ line of 19 points and 10 rebounds isn’t too shabby, though, and he has ample time to make up the New Orleans Pelicans’ eight-point deficit, too.
