Insanely Bored, Wildly Creative Knicks Fans Chant Tom Hanks’ Name During Team’s Blowout Loss To Kings

We’re not exactly sure why Tom Hanks decided to subject himself to last night’s game between the New York Knicks and Sacramento Kings at Madison Square Garden.

Maybe he’s excited about how Sacramento has played since hiring George Karl? Or perhaps he wanted to see the Knicks’ two-way futility in person before deciding whether they should draft Jahlil Okafor or Karl Anthony-Towns?

Nah. The two-time Oscar winner probably attended New York’s blowout loss to the Kings just in case the crowd got bored and creative enough to randomly begin chanting his name in the fourth quarter.

At least Hanks got what he came for, right? Assuming they wanted to watch a winning basketball team instead of gawk at courtside celebrities, the same certainly can’t be said for Knicks fans; Sacramento beat New York 124-86.
