LeBron James Gets Loose For A Huge Windmill Slam

Call this a statement from LeBron James.

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar has developed quite a relationship with Boston Celtics fans over the past seven years, and contention of this series has only furthered it. You think James didn’t hear Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck call he and his team out? What are the chances he didn’t catch wind of Jae Crowder saying no Cavalier is intimidating?

The four-time MVP and two-time champion doesn’t need any more motivation; bringing a championship to his beloved Northeast Ohio lends him plenty of that. But it’s also clear that LeBron relishes the chance to shine against the franchise that contributed to his departure from Cleveland in the first place, and the same one he helped usher into a rebuilding process as a member of the Miami Heat.

This easy windmill dunk is just the latest example of that reality.

Led by James’ 24 points and nine rebounds, the Cavaliers lead the Celtics 84-76 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
