Jeff Van Gundy Said He’ll ‘Make It Rain’ And Can ‘Hear’ Lightning

On Monday night, Jeff Van Gundy claimed he could hear lightning. He also mentioned “making it rain” during the ESPN telecast of Game 4 between the Warriors and Rockets. He has previously been nominated for two Emmy Awards, so nothing makes sense.

“Did you just hear that lightning outside?”

Yes, that is an actual question Van Gundy asked during Monday night’s broadcast. Granted, I’m sure he meant thunder instead of lightning because there was really, really bad weather in Houston last night. They even held fans at the Toyota Center after the game because it was so awful outside the arena.

The Rockets had full control of the game the entire night, helped by James Harden’s 45-point performance. But JVG claiming he can “hear lightning” is still pretty funny.

We all know Van Gundy is an erudite, yet weird dude, and he reminded us of that last night. Be sure to watch for Van Gundy in the next Lil Wayne joint. That’s Lil Wayne, not to be confused with the BASED GOD.
