Klay Thompson’s Big Second Quarter Has The Warriors Leading The Rockets At Halftime

After a hot start from Dwight Howard and the Rockets, the Warriors went on a run of their own, led by none other than the Splash Brothers. In particular, it was Klay Thompson who went wild and scored 13 of his 15 first-half points in the second quarter on 3-of-5 five shooting from downtown, including this easy breakaway dunk off a beautiful touchdown pass from Steph Curry.

Curry got in on the action as well with one of his patented, off-balance three-pointers from the corner that would be a terrible shot if attempted by anyone other than himself. He had 14 points in the half.

James Harden, on the other hand, is having a rough go of it so far. He has just 11 points and has turned the ball over eight times already. The Warriors lead the Rockets 52-46 at the break.
