Tony Allen is a lot of things, both for the Memphis Grizzlies and for NBA fans, but he’s never boring. If the Grizzlies are to have any chance of upsetting the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals, he’s going to have to live up to his Grindfather title and cause some chaos to disrupt the Splash Brothers. Even though Memphis went into halftime down 61-52 to the Warriors, Allen has already stirred sh*t up. First, he picked Stephen Curry’s pocket and took it the other way for a big dunk:

Of course, Tony’s chaos cuts both ways, and his between-play antics were just as baffling as his on-court play was exciting. He brought down the wrath of the Oracle Arena in Oakland when he inexplicably wandered into a children’s dance routine during a commercial break:

What are you doing, Tony? Get out of there and let the kids have their moment! Though he apologized to the crowd after the fact, it wasn’t enough to prevent Dubs fans from showering Allen with thunderous boos every time he touched the ball for the rest of the first half. They were more upset about that than they were about the steal! It just goes to show, you don’t mess with child dancers.
