Watch Zach LaVine Take Dunking To The Extreme With A Football

Now Zach LaVine is just showing off. The Slam Dunk champ has already proven he can dunk basketballs better than nearly any other current player in the NBA. Despite that, LaVine said previously he planned to use the offseason to further increase his vertical leap. No small feat. To a player who no longer finds dunking a mere basketball to be a challenge, a bit of creativity is required.

LaVine switched up his training routine to include footballs. Yes, it sounds ridiculous, but he pulls it off with style. This video shows him performing a series of alley-oops with a football. He grabs some serious air, catches a football one-handed midflight, and puts it home. Not once or twice, but several times. Watching LaVine in action is impressive enough on its own. What really makes the video are the courtside reactions.

Here’s another angle of his crazy new dunking feat. What will he dunk next?
