Paul George Saluted Former Pacers Roy Hibbert And David West On Instagram

As the 2015 NBA Free Agency period continues to make headlines, two major deals took place on Monday. For starters, the San Antonio Spurs continued to rule the basketball world by acquiring free agent David West for a ridiculously cheap $1.4 million. West previously opted out of his final year with the Indiana Pacers, which would’ve been worth up to $12.2 million. Pacers center Roy Hibbert was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday, as well, which could actually turn out to be one of the more successful under-the-radar trades of free agency.

Paul George, who had been teammates with West and Hibbert for the entirety of his five-year career to this point, paid tribute to the two on his Instagram account shortly after the news was announced.

“Mannnnnnn O man! My big bro and the big OG DWest! Couldn’t thank y’all enough for the good times and helping me thru my bad ones! I don’t feel as if yall left me BUT that you prepared me for this moment.. And THIS moment is my opportunity to help lead this team! Love y’all @_dwesooo @royhibbert55 #TrueVets #GreatTeammates #EvenBetterFriends #GoneMissLacinUpThemWithYa”
