The Chicago Bulls are very close to bringing the whole band back (kind of) for the 2015-16 season. First, they offered Jimmy Butler a guaranteed five-year maximum contract (which he’s allegedly leaning towards accepting), and they’ve now re-signed small forward Mike Dunleavy, Jr. to a three-year contract worth $14 million, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Dunleavy confirmed that he’s coming back, as well:

There’s no arguing that the Bulls have a roster full of talent, headlined by Derrick Rose and Butler (provided he does actually come back). Their frontcourt is deep but full of question marks with Joakim Noah, Pau Gasol, Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic all under contract and draft pick Bobby Portis on the way, and Chicago is hoping that new coach Fred Hoiberg can put together the pieces more successfully than Thibodeau could. If he can’t, the Bulls will be in a tough spot without much flexibility.
