Seth Curry Dropped 20 Of His Team’s 26 First-Half Points At The Drew League

All Seth Curry does is get buckets. He led all scorers at the Las Vegas Summer League this month with 25 points per game and subsequently earned a two-year, $2 million contract with the Sacramento Kings, solidifying his short-term future in the NBA after bouncing around in the D-League the past two seasons.

Fresh off that career-altering performance, Curry dropped in at the Drew League in Los Angeles Friday and went off for 20 of his team’s 26 first-half points. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough, as his squad Tradition lost to C.O.A. 66-60. Regardless, Curry seems resolved to step out of his brother’s shadow and carve his own path. If he keeps up his stellar play of late, he might very well succeed in that endeavor.
