Mark Cuban Says He Would ‘Crush’ Donald Trump If He Ran For President

Mark Cuban has never been one to hold back his opinions on any given topic. Take, for example, his thoughts on the current presidential race, which is less of a political event and more an extremely long episode of Wacky Races.

Previously, Cuban heavily endorsed Republican hopeful Donald Trump, saying he’d make a great president (he even said he’d be willing to be his vice president!). But, wait, what if Cuban himself were to run for the oval office? Would he still settle for running mate? Come on, this is Mark Cuban we’re talking about.

Of course he wouldn’t. As he told CNBC:

In an email exchange with CNBC, Cuban revealed his thoughts on the presidency, how he’d structure his campaign and what it would mean for the nation to have, in his words, a “three-comma POTUS—as in $1,000,000,000.

Asked whether he’d ever run for president, Cuban wrote: “I get asked every day. It’s a fun idea to toss around. If I ran as a Dem, I know I could beat Hillary Clinton. And if it was me vs. Trump, I would crush him. No doubt about it.”

We’re not quite sure our political system can handle two billionaires with absolutely no governing experience and egos too big for the planet in one presidential race. Thankfully, Cuban isn’t forcing us to find out.
