Bradley Beal Sinks A Game-Winning Three-Pointer To Beat The Spurs

It was a dramatic finish to the Wizards-Spurs game in Washington on Wednesday night as Bradley Beal drained a game-winning three with 0.3 seconds left to give his team a 102-99 victory.

Prior to that, Tony Parker had made a clutch three-pointer of his own with just over seven seconds remaining to tie the game at 99-99. Parker had 11 of his 17 points in the final period up to that point.

But on the final possession, Beal was able to shake loose from LaMarcus Aldridge on the mismatch and get a clean look, which gave him a team-high 25 points. He and Wall, who chipped in 17 points, combined to score the final 15 points for Washington.

After an 18-point first half, Kawhi Leonard went cold the rest of the way and missed a pair of consecutive crunch-time jumpers with less than 30 seconds to go in the fourth. With the Spurs down by one, that would have given them the lead. He scored just five points in the second half to finish with 23 points. Aldridge, despite corralling 14 rebounds, had another difficult shooting night as he was just 4-of-14 from the field and had five turnovers.

In addition to Wall and Beal, Otto Porter Jr. also came up big for the Wizards as he put up 19 points and a highly-efficient 8-of-10 shooting.
