Ben McLemore Takes Off From Behind The Dotted Line For The Huge Jam.

The Kings-Rockets game was a comedy of errors as the two teams combined for 51 total turnovers. But this particular Houston turnover led to a nasty transition dunk from Ben McLemore. He finished with just eight points on the night, but they were arguably the second-most spectacular points of the game after Rudy Gay’s late-game posterization of Patrick Beverley.

McLemore was an efficient 3-of-4 from the field in just a little over 20 minutes of action and added two assists and two steals, but was responsible for four of the Kings’ 29 turnovers. The Rockets, however, couldn’t capitalize on Sacramento’s sloppy all-around play, much less the absence of Rajon Rondo as he served his one-game suspension for his high-profile homophobic slurs aimed at referee Bill Kennedy, who has since come out as gay. Houston went on to lose 107-97 and fall to 12-14 on the season.

There was also an odd moment after McLemore’s dunk as Jason Terry – who was hustling back on defense – had a brief run-in with a fan seated behind the goal, who slapped away Terry’s hand and was subsequently ejected from the arena. Strangely enough, that fan turned out to be DeMarcus Cousin’s manager, Andrew Rogers, who later apparently tried to return to his seat, only to be once again escorted out.
