Someone Explain This Crazy No-Look Bullet Pass By D’Angelo Russell

His rookie campaign hasn’t gone quite as smoothly as a lot of people expected, but every once in a while, Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell will show a flash of brilliance that reminds you why he was the No. 2 pick in the 2015 draft. One such moment happened on Tuesday night during Los Angeles’ game against Philadelphia, when he connected on a picture-perfect pass with Lakers big man Julius Randle.

Russell turns his head to the side and fires a rope to Randle that goes right over the head of Sixers guard Hollis Thompson. He hit Randle perfectly, but sadly, the second year man out of Kentucky was fouled and couldn’t finish. It was a shame because Russell deserved an assist for this dime.
