Is LeBron James Telling Miami Heat Fans To Count The Rings?

LeBron James didn’t play against the Miami Heat last night, a decision that was made by his coach David Blatt despite LeBron’s protests. It made sense, too. The Cavs were on the second game of a back-to-back, and LeBron had just expended a ton of energy in an overtime loss against the Pelicans. As much as James wanted to play, and as much as Heat fans would have liked to see him play, resting him was the right call.

That didn’t stop Heat fans from heckling LeBron, obviously. They chanted “LeBron is tired” at the King, which, let’s be honest, is incredibly tame for heckling. LeBron was clearly in no mood for it, and his response was absolutely perfect: a subtle flash of the fingers to remind those same fans of how many championships he won while he was with the Heat.
