With spring right around the corner–finally!–adidas has unveiled the special edition “Florist City Collection” for NBA All-Stars John Wall and Damian Lillard. Both Florist City Crazy 1s ($125) will be available, with select collection items, starting March 19 at Compound Gallery and adidas.com.
Featuring matching socks, hats and sweatshirts, as well as the iconic Crazy 1, this collection pays homage to the annual spring celebrations in both Portland and Washington, D.C. Lillard’s colorway includes an upper and laces with a rose print, plus green detailing to showcase a flower’s stem. Portland is known for their famous rose gardens and Rose Festival.
As for the Wall edition, it sports a cherry blossom print from the city’s Cherry Blossom Festival on both the outsole and laces, and an upper that’s meant to mimic the stone monuments around D.C.
The socks and sweatshirt both feature sublimated floral print and specific detailing.
To celebrate the collection’s launch, both Wall and Lillard will be stopping by Portland’s Compound Gallery (107 NW 5th Ave.) on March 19 from 7-9 p.m. where they will sign autographs and mingle with the fans.
