The wacky play you see above happened during the Warriors game against the Suns on Saturday night and, after about a dozen or so reviews of the replay, we’re still not sure exactly what exactly happened here. Golden State center Andrew Bogut appeared to have an easy two points for the taking on a fast break, but then things unraveled quickly and unexpectedly.
What we know for sure is that Bogut lost control of the basketball in what was a serious flub, but what’s not so clear is what his intentions were. Did he make a fool of himself going for a big jam, or did he change his mind and attempt to lob an oop to a teammate instead?
That’s up for you to decide but, regardless of what you decide, we can all agree that the execution was pretty laughable.
