With all of the Clippers’ injuries, Austin Rivers found himself inserted in the starting lineup against the Blazers on Wednesday at the beginning of Game 5. He certainly made the most of his opportunity early on when he took Ed Davis off the dribble and exploded to the rim for a powerful one-handed jam. This is just the type of effort they’ll need if they want any chance at all against the Blazers now that they are drastically undermanned.
