A Bar In San Francisco Is Offering Free Shots For Every Warriors 3-Pointer Made In Game 4

With the Golden State Warriors poised for a sweep of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, a bar in San Francisco is in the mood to give away free alcohol for Game 4. A lot of free alcohol.

A Twitter user named John snapped a photo of a sign outside a bar that is offering free shots for every 3-pointer the Warriors made in Game 4. And with a team featuring guys called The Splash Brothers, that’s a lot of free shots they’re likely to hand out.

This image only raises more questions, really. Is there a disclaimer on the back we can’t see? Is it shots of water? Diet Sprite? Fanta? Do the shots even have to be made? Because if it’s 3-point attempts, this is downright criminal. Either way, people are going to be seriously harmed if this sign means what we think it means.

And according to our Oliver Maroney, that sign does mean what we think it means.

John had a pretty fair estimate of how his night would go if he went into the bar and watched Game 4.

For context, the Warriors are averaging 15.3 threes in the Finals. In 74 of their 97 games, they’ve made at least 10 threes. This is a bad idea all around, especially if Golden State wins on Friday and fans get to celebrate their second title in three years. Or maybe, just maybe… it’s the greatest idea ever.
