Blake Griffin Went Nuclear Against The Rockets In The First Half Of Game 2

Blake Griffin was playing like a man possessed in the first half of the Clippers-Rockets Game 2 match-up. First, he caught Houston’s defense sleeping before taking off from the dotted line on this monster jam. Then, he launched into the stratosphere to catch this alley-oop from Jamal Crawford.

With Chris Paul sitting out his second straight game with a hamstring injury, Griffin was asserting himself early and often. He scored 14 points in the opening quarter and finished the half with 26 points, five rebounds, three assists, and a block on 11-for-14 shooting, most of it from right around the rim.
