Bradley Beal Turned In Another Absurd Flop During Game 7 Against Boston

The Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics have seemingly been doing battle in the Eastern Conference Semifinals for months. Way back in Game 3, Wizards guard Bradley Beal delivered a flop for the ages and the basketball world (led by Boston’s Al Horford) thoroughly enjoyed his acting performance.

Not to be outdone by his first showing, Beal turned in yet another fantastic flop during the first half of Game 7 and even the TNT broadcast was horrified.

Plays like this are largely harmless but the NBA actually took steps to legislate against them in the past. It has to be noted that well, the league has slacked off considerably in actually enforcing those rules, but Beal’s overacting in this spot does more to inspire laughter than actual outrage.

In fact, the memes were quick and they were fantastic.

It is actually incredible that Beal was able to think as quickly as he did once he felt (very) minor contact during a backpedal but, even then, his reaction was delayed enough on video that the entire world could see that he went down on his own accord. 23-year-old guards are not supposed to be able to pull off “veteran” maneuvers such as this one but, in a Game 7 situation, anything goes and Bradley Beal knows it.
