Did Carmelo Anthony Drop Jae Crowder, Or Was Crowder Just Flopping For A Foul?

The Knicks found their stroke against the Boston Celtics, which is no easy task given how well the Celtics are playing defensively. Specifically, Carmelo Anthony, bearing the biggest basketball burden of them all, has been shooting well this evening.

And for Melo to put Jae Crowder on the court is something else. This isn’t just some garden variety defender we’re talking about here. Crowder was whistled for a foul, but it’s not entirely clear if it was Melo who fouled Crowder, or if Crowder was looking for a call.

Either way, this whole thing could have been avoided if Danny Ainge had been more aggressive in pursuing Melo.
