A Befuddled Chris Bosh Realizes He’s On NBA TV And Scampers Off Camera

Chris Bosh has earned the reputation of being the best videobomber in the NBA. As this compilation shows, Bosh turned himself into a star during teammates’ interviews just by showing up and doing silly things while they were on camera and not expecting a Bosh cameo. For my money, his best work came during the 2012 Playoffs, when then-teammate LeBron James was getting interviewed after a Heat win and Bosh popped up right in front of the camera. James was so used to the stunt that he just smiled and kept talking, because Bosh bombs were so common.

However, those videos are usually great because Bosh is knowingly pulling a fast one on someone else. On Monday, during the Heat’s media day session, Bosh pulled a spectacular video bomb solely based on the fact that he seemingly had no idea what was going on. Bosh had just finished up an interview with NBA TV’s Dennis Scott, and Scott was doing a quick sign-off. Unaware that the camera was still rolling even though the interview wrapped up, Bosh started making silly faces and dancing around before realizing what was up and making his way off screen.

Bosh is making his way back from having blood clots in one of his lungs, an ailment that prematurely ended his 2015 season. Hopefully he is back to 100 percent and can return to being one of the league’s most entertaining players on and off the court.
