In the aftermath of Craig Sager‘s passing, many have reflected on what the long-time TNT reporter has meant to them on a personal level. Tributes from Gregg Popovich, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, Kevin Garnett and Chris Webber, and others expressed heartfelt remembrance of a fallen friend, but none can match the feelings of Sager’s own son, Craig Jr., who shared the following as his first public message after his father’s death.

Sager’s quote of “time is simply how you live your life” has become something he is remembered for in a significant way and, with that in mind, the sentiment was shared on warm-ups worn by the Milwaukee Bucks during the team’s game on Thursday evening.

The full look can be seen above, but the inscription is a moving tribute to Sager. The Bucks host the Chicago Bulls for the first leg of a TNT double-header on Thursday, and with Milwaukee taking part in a broadcast by Sager’s employer, this was the perfect tenor in which to honor his memory. It isn’t every day that you can find a personality in the sports world with a 100 percent approval rating, but Craig Sager fits that bill and the outpouring of support and love in the direction of his family is touching on a number of levels.
