The Crowd At Game 4 Was As Interesting As The Game Itself

The Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers put on a fine show for basketball fans Friday night. For once, we actually had a game that was competitive into the fourth quarter, although toward the end the Warriors pulled away to earn the victory. However, they weren’t the only interesting thing going on during Game 4 of the NBA Finals. There was a veritable cast of characters strewn about the arena who added to the entertainment value.

Here, for your edification, are some of the folks who made us laugh, and made us think.

First, a repeat performance. You remember that woman from that photo of Steph Curry? You know the one we are talking about. She seemed to be an…enthusiastic Curry fan. Even though this game took place in Cleveland, she was still in the crowd, and, to make things more amusing and more awkward, she was seated a stone’s throw away Ayesha Curry.

On a related note, shout out to this fan who has a Cavs jersey with J.R. Smith’s number 5 on it, but with “Pipe” on the name plate.

Meanwhile, behind the benches, you may have noticed a woman with something weird across her stomach, before realizing it was the hand of the dude standing right behind her, and we mean right behind her. In the first half, the camera lingered on them for a few seconds. It got uncomfortable. This wasn’t some mystery guy, though. His name is Dennis Leebow. His Instagram should tell you everything you need to know.

On the more innocent side of things, here’s a kid who’s a big Cavaliers fan, and was quite demonstrative throughout the evening in his enthusiasm for Cleveland basketball.

There was an Andrew Bynum sighting! With blonde hair and all! And he was drinking Miller Lite from a can!

That would have been enough, but then a shirtless guy stormed the court with “Trump Sucks” on his chest, and was quickly tackled and arrested.

All in all, a fine evening of people watching. Oh, and the halftime act? RED PANDA.
