Dante Exum Suffers A Non-Contact Knee Injury While Playing For Australia

Ever wondered why some NBA players elect against representing their countries in international play during the offseason? This is a prime example.

Utah Jazz guard Dante Exum suffered a non-contact knee injury in Australia’s friendly versus Slovenia on Tuesday. The contest was the team’s final tuneup in advance of the FIBA Oceana Championships later this month.

The 20-year-old immediately hobbled to the locker room and didn’t return to the game following the injury. Here’s video of the incident:
