Kevin Durant Didn’t Like When DeAndre Jordan Asked Him About Not Signing With The Clippers

Kevin Durant had a really tough decision to make this offseason: stay in Oklahoma City or head elsewhere? By elsewhere, of course, we mean the Golden State Warriors, the team he eventually decided to join.

But Durant had a number of other suitors, like the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers had an interesting pitch to Durant, one which involved him forming a “Big Four” with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan. Ultimately that didn’t happen, but getting all four of those guys on the same team would have been a ton of fun. A Clippers team with KD, CP3, Blake, and DeAndre would have possessed a scary mix of length, athleticism, and basketball smarts, and it’s not crazy to think that the foursome could have led LA to a title in the near future.

Apparently, Jordan still isn’t totally over Durant’s decision to head somewhere other than Los Angeles, which makes sense on a few levels. So during a USA Basketball media session on Wednesday, he decided to ask KD why he couldn’t get the former MVP to come to the Clippers. Durant’s immediate reaction to this was somewhere between “slightly upset” and “really ticked off,” but fortunately the situation dissolved pretty quickly. Still, for a few seconds, it looked like KD really didn’t appreciate what was obviously just Jordan busting his chops.
