The offseason is in full swing for DeMarcus Cousins. He and his brother Jaleel were in a Tampa Bay nightclub when a fight broke out between Jaleel and a club patron. Jaleel threw a couple serious haymakers, which prompted police to arrive on the scene.

From all accounts, DeMarcus was not involved in the altercation at all and was rushed out as soon as the fight began. TMZ is reporting that the incident began when Jaleel wanted to enter the DJ area:

Sources inside the club tell us the brothers tried to get into the DJ area but security was shutting them down — and that’s when the chest-puffing began.

In footage obtained by TMZ Sports, you can see Jaleel throwing a haymaker punch — while chaos ensues around him. We’re told someone in DeMarcus’ crew grabbed the Sacramento Kings star almost immediately and smartly rushed him outside.

Cops rushed in and tried to take Jaleel into custody — but he allegedly resisted so cops busted out the taser and shocked him into submission. He was eventually arrested for misdemeanor battery and resisting arrest.

It doesn’t sound like Boogie is at fault here, but the incident won’t help his spotty reputation. With the NBA Draft right around the corner, the trade winds have already begun to take sail because of Boogie’s moodiness. Next time he hits the club, the big fella should reserve a table and relax.
