While a lot of NBA stars might’ve opted for more exotic locales (and more fruit-based water vessels), DeMarcus Cousins doesn’t have to travel too far to find some summer fun. A new video uploaded to his Twitter account shows the Kings center swimming with his dogs and riding jet skis in what many of his followers appear to believe is Folsom Lake near Sacramento.
It makes perfect sense that Cousins wouldn’t want to stray too far from home at the moment, because soon enough, he’ll be headed to one of the world’s most exotic locales to represent Team USA in the Rio Olympics next month. Cousins will likely take a much more prominent role on this year’s squad now that several high-profile stars have declined their USA Basketball invitations. The men’s national team, however, is still highly favored to bring home the gold.
In the meantime, we can only hope he and his filmmakers (Little Foot Productions, who you can check out on Instagram) will continue to bless us with these super fun videos of the Kings star and all his extracurricular activities. He should also probably get in all the swimming he can now, given the water situation down in Rio.
