Dennis Rodman Believes Klay Thompson Is More Important Than Steph Curry To The Warriors

A good sign the NBA playoffs are around the corner is someone from the 1990s Chicago Bulls is saying negative things about the Golden State Warriors.

Here’s what Dennis Rodman had to say about Klay Thompson (loves him!) and Steph Curry (he stinks!) to CBS Sports:

“You know what, Steph Curry has took a step back,” Rodman said. “And it’s cool. It’s actually cool because if you see his game now, I always said with that Golden State team, I always say one thing: that one player is the player right there that makes that team. Who is that player?”

“That is right there: Thompson,” Rodman said. “That kid right there is good. If he went to another team, he’d suck. What I’m saying is that Klay Thompson makes that team. Everybody’s always worried about Curry. I know Curry’s dad and all that bulls—. But Klay Thompson makes that team. It ain’t (Draymond) Green, that guy, no. It’s Klay Thompson.”

That part of the quote is in bold because the video/audio from the interview seems to be gone, and it’s hard to say if Rodman thinks Thompson or Curry would suck on another team. It seems like Rodman thinks Curry would suck because the rest of the quote is about the greatness of Thompson. Either way, it’s ludicrous.

It was just last week when Curry had a laugh about people saying he’s having a down year, but he probably didn’t think that would include a guy who once starred in a movie with Dane Cook. This take is so hot that Skip Bayless is considering a new co-host for whatever the name of that show is that he’s currently hosting.
