Jonny Flynn (27 points) and Eric Devendorf (22 points) sparked Syracuse in a come-from-behind victory last night against the Richmond Spiders. Imagine what they could have done with this guy…
man if your gonna show a football player who can hoop – how about antonio gates or tony g.
Haha that’s pretty cool. I wonder if there are any Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzales college basketball highlights out there. It’ll be dope to see some Charlie Ward and Nate Robinson football highlights as well.
Yes. Yes that is what the guys say now.
Tried to fight the urge.
Still to bad after allllllll the years of being in the NFL he didn’t know that games could end in a tie.
Still nice vid. Wonder how the team did that year?
Did you see how much of a touch foul that and 1 was? May be the worst foul ever called. I don’t even know if it could be called a touch foul, i’m not positive the defender came in contact with him.
he wasnt a contributor to the team when he played, just a bench guy – seeing as football was going on easily until the middle or late december back then for the ‘Cuse; when football was actually a solid program.
i remember watching him play back when i was a youngin growing up in syracuse – he was just an athletic big dude with an edge (back then) …. always good to have on a team
What? A football game can end in a tie? What happens during the playoffs and Superbowl?
two highlights shows that he got buckets?
SYRACUSE WHAAAT! FYI local Syracuse newspaper reported that Devendorf is under investigation for punching a female student in the face sometime before november. Every Orangeman/woman is already discrediting the female student as publicity hungry and a drama queen.
Gotta love the ‘cuse die hards.
@2 The Nate Robinson football highlights are tight…he had a pretty important/legendary interception for the UW football team.
Alas, now we are battling for our first victory of the season against one of the three remaining teams without a Division 1 football.
The state of Washington in it’s entirity is a sad, sad sports scene right about now.
I think Donovan played with a NBA baller in high school. I am 99% sure. Just cant remember. Anyone remember????
DIMES FAVORITE ANTOINE WALKER …
THEY WENT TO THE FINAL 4 AND CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ONE OF THE YEARS HE PLAYED … 95 OR 96 I THINK AGAINST KENTUCKY ….
REFRESH MY MEMORY DIME, IS THAT RIGHT??
thanks i knew it was someone irrelevant…
any bench warming basketball players from college or NBA would dominate the NFL. Antonio Gates and Tony G and TO are one of the best basketball players in the NFL and they are the premier players for their position. People talk about Lebron playing Wide or Tight End( He would dominate that position), can you imagine a guy like Dwight Howard or Shaq(when he was younger) playing Tight End or a slot reciever?
oh don’t forget Julius Peppers. He was balling it up in UNC and is now one of the best defensive players in the NFL
