He certainly doesn’t have the global recognition of Steph Curry, and isn’t quite the domestic household name of Steve Kerr, either. But after helping the Golden State Warriors to their first championship in 40 years and finishing second in voting for Defensive Player of the Year, even casual NBA fans have come to know Draymond Green.
Well, most of them, at least.
In efforts to proclaim her love for basketball’s favorite loudmouth, Twitter user @SidStrausberg posted a pic including Green’s handle and calling him “bae.” The only problem? She photoshopped the wrong Warriors forward into her longing gaze.
Yeah. That’s definitely, definitely Harrison Barnes.
The user, who we’ll call Sidney, quickly deleted the photo, but not before Green was alerted to her amusing error and and re-posted it for all to see. Draymond found this funnier than anybody else, it seems.
For those of y'all that missed it before she deleted it… Here it is 😂😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/k1O2EQvnJx

Unsurprisingly, Sidney didn’t quite cop to her mistake completely, claiming she simply tagged Green by mistake.
I TAGGED THE WRONG WARRIORS PLAYER NOW EVERYONE PROB THINKS I DONT KNOW WHO HE IS IM DYING

Her true intent doesn’t really matter, of course. Internet trolls are ruthless, and let Sidney have it on Twitter with the helping hand of her mistaken subject. She took the criticism in stride, though, even alluding to her previous error by posting a similar photo “confusing” one Warrior for another just a short time later.
Lemme try this again. Selfie with Steph 😋 maybe it's Klay idk 💛💕💕💕💕😂 #warriors pic.twitter.com/QUEGCO2Is4

Nice save.
