Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Threw Up A Prayer From An Insane Angle That Somehow Went In

I mean … how? How on earth did this shot go in?

Look at the picture of Giannis Antetokounmpo at the top of this post. He is being pulled away from the hoop and he has thrown up a shot despite being at a terribly awkward angle. It went in. This is what happened.

So this doesn’t include too much basketball skill, necessarily, but the strength, court awareness, and balance that The Greek Freak needs to possess to pull this off are all off the charts. Of course, as his nickname indicates, he is a freak, so this really shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

It seems like every time the Bucks take the floor, Antetokounmpo does something that blows our minds. Tonight, we got this. A few days ago, he held a one-man dunk contest in the Bucks’ win against Phoenix. And who can forget the time that he busted out a dunk that literally looked like it came out of Space Jam, as he took off from quite a distance away from the rim and extended like he was Michael Jordan getting dragged down by a few Monstars.

I’m not quite willing to say that Antetokounmpo is the best player in the league for highlights, but man, he’s up there. Milwaukee lost to Memphis, 113-93, but this was still super impressive.
