What Do We Think Of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Justin Bieber Lip Sync Performance?

Sports teams using their players to produce some goofy in-game entertainment for the jumbotron is nothing new. The Milwaukee Bucks apparently are in the business of asking their players to do lip sync performances for the fans to enjoy, which is why we have this video of Giannis Antetokounmpo doing his best to lip sync Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean.”

To be fair, I respect the effort…but, man, what a terrible showing by Antetokounmpo. Points for style, but if you’re going to lip sync a song, you should probably know more than five percent of the lyrics so you can avoid the whole “watch me mouth nonexistent words while dancing awkwardly to pass the time” thing. Do your damn homework, Giannis!

In all seriousness, Antetokounmpo was a good sport and seemed to have quite a bit of fun with his performance, and I’m sure the fans got a kick out of it, which is really what matters. But it’s probably safe to assume that he didn’t win the vote in the battle of the performances, or at least I hope not. That would mean that the vote is a sham or that this lip sync was actually better than someone else’s, which…oh dear god.
