Hedo Turkoglu’s Hot New Catchphrase: “Ball”

Talk about awkward. After the Raptors came back from 5 points down with 2 minutes to go in the fourth quarter to beat the Knicks last night, Hedo Turkoglu was not exactly in a jovial mood after the game. The Toronto based TSN reporter Jack Armstrong, asked Turkoglu, “What was the different for you tonight, in terms of setting the tone with your game?” Hedo simply said “ball” and an awkward five seconds of silence followed.

Armstrong broke the silence by saying, “The ball in your hands and you did something with it.” Turkoglu looking somewhat annoyed, shrugged his shoulders and responded, “I’ve got nothing more to say.” Judging by that response and some of the answers the Raptors gave us last night, we’re guessing it’s got something to do with the freezing weather we’ve been getting on the East Coast as of late.
