If you play in the NBA, chances are pretty good that, at some point, you will get put on a poster. That chance exists at any level of basketball past middle school, but it’s increased exponentially at the NBA. It doesn’t matter how good of a defender you are, or how adept you are at taking charges, or how fast you can get out of the way – it’s going to happen, and it’s best to just accept it.
During their careers, players are reluctant to reflect on such things. Once their playing days are over, they’re more open to talking about their more embarrassing moments, like Isiah Thomas does here when he recounts the time when Clyde Drexler dunked all over him.
