How Could The Refs Possibly Miss This Painfully Obvious Travel By Jae Crowder?

The NBA has a reputation for being a league where the referees let players travel all the time. Of course, that’s not the case at all, but every once in a while, you’ll see a blatant travel that the refs don’t call for some reason.

That happened during Monday night’s game between the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets. Celtics forward Jae Crowder caught the ball at the three-point line and went in for a layup. He took four steps and used exactly zero dribbles. He was also all alone, so it’s not like the attention of the officials was anywhere else but on Crowder.

Sometimes, you’ll see the refs miss a call and you let it slide, because you understand why they would miss what happened. This is not one of those times.
