J.J. Barea and Salah Mejri weren’t exactly playing the roles of peacemakers in front of the Thunder bench. The end result: Offsetting technical fouls on Russell Westbrook and Mejri along with a delay of game on Anthony Morrow for not handing the ball back to Mejri.
Things started to get particularly physical for these two teams during Game 3, when the Thunder got physical enough with Dallas for coach Rick Carlisle to call out Kevin Durant after the game.
It’s a little surprising Anthony Morrow only got called for a delay of game and not a technical foul here. A delay of game is only a warning the first time it’s called.
The Westbrook and Mejri techs offset and no free throws were shot.
