Joakim Noah Posts An Instagram Photo That Indicates He’ll Be Signing With The Knicks

It’s been heavily rumored for the better part of a week now, but it would appear that the reports of a marriage between the Knicks and Joakim Noah are indeed true.

Early Friday morning, reports came out from multiple sources that the Knicks would be signing the former All-Star center to a deal that equated to around $70 million over four years. The deal still isn’t finalized, but Noah removed all doubt with this Instagram post that he put up on Friday afternoon.

Noah will, of course, join his former teammate Derrick Rose in the Big Apple, and although the Knicks won’t be signing Kevin Durant, they should be an improved club next season with Rose, Noah, Carmelo Anthony, and Kristaps Porzingis in the starting lineup. Plus there is still time for them to find a suitable shooting guard and add some bench depth if Phil Jackson can work his magic.

Noah definitely doesn’t deserve a $70 million deal considering his poor play last year and his injury history, but with the likes of Timofey Mozgov and Evan Turner signing deals for insane amounts of money, Noah’s doesn’t seem all that bad anymore.
