Apparently Philadelphia 76ers rookie Joel Embiid can use his Twitter feed for more than humorous romantic escapades. In wake of Andrew Wiggins being officially traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Embiid took to social media to share his big aspirations for his former University of Kansas teammate.

The circumstances of Kobe Bryant’s brief time as a Charlotte Hornet were far different than Wiggins’ as a Cleveland Cavalier, of course, but Embiid gets his point across nonetheless. Bryant himself actually made the same comparison when recently discussing the rocky start to Wiggins’ career, too.
This is a nice show of support from Embiid. If he shows half as much versatility on the court as he does on the web, the Sixers could have themselves an All-Star.
