The good folks at Jordan Brand took the opportunity to tease the public with the return of the Monstars on Tuesday, and just hours later, everyone received a sneak peak at what the Air Jordan 31 Space Jam will look like. These are some of the sharpest sneakers that we’ve seen out of Jordan Brand in some time, which makes sense, because of course it was going to go all out for the 20th anniversary of Space Jam. As usual, Jordan Brand went above and beyond in their packaging, and the full breakdown can be seen here, via Complex Sneakers.
The video indicates that this probably isn’t a package that will be widely available for public consumption, which makes sense because that would probably cost Jordan Brand a ton of money. However, the Air Jordan 31 Space Jam will be available for a reported sticker price of $185, and they will drop on Dec. 3 for those who cannot wait beyond the release date to grab a piece of history.
On the 20th anniversary of Space Jam, Jordan Brand is pulling out all of the stops and, by the looks of the packaging, this is one of the more elaborate releases in the history of the sneaker line. The Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is one of the iconic looks ever, and if the Air Jordan 31 can live up to that billing, Nike will be eternally pleased. Here’s to hoping we can all purchase the special packaging for these kicks.
