Jordan Clarkson Posterized Alex Len After Kobe Bryant’s Unique Bit Of Motivation

The Lakers blew up the Phoenix Suns last night, winning at home, 97-77, and putting the latest nail in the coffin of the team from the desert, having a ton of fun while they were doing it. Jordan Clarkson’s detonation on Alex Len was a perfect example. He uncorked this beauty right in Len’s eye and the whole bench got in on the celebration.

Yes, Nick Young had to be resuscitated.

Swaggy P might be the clown everyone uses to rip NBA players who don’t take their job seriously, but this is still just sports. Let’s appreciate Nick Young for the entertainment he brings to an NBA sideline and locker room, while ignoring the glaring holes in his game despite his NBA experience.

Perhaps the funniest part of the dunk was when Clarkson was asked about it and he said that Kobe played a funny role in spurring him to the cup.

Clarkson is taking a fewer percentage of his shots in the restricted area this year, and that might have something to do with how badly he’s been finishing at the iron. He’s making shots in the 0-3 feet range at just a 53 percent clip. Last year, he connected on 66.5 percent. The league overall this year hits shots in the 0-3 foot range at a 61.6 percent clip, so Kobe might be on to something; although, we probably would have used different diction to explain it.
