Denver Rookie Jusuf Nurkic Emasculates Markieff Morris With “Gift” After Beasting In Post

It’s only a matter of time and notoriety until Jusuf Nurkic becomes the player every opposing fan loves to hate. As an analyst without specific team bias, though, it sure is easy to love the Denver Nuggets rookie big man.

“Nice try, Markieff Morris,” the 20 year-old Bosnian seems to be saying. “Here’s a gift for your pathetic efforts.”

The officials, unfortunately, weren’t as amused by Nurkic’s antics as we are – he was assessed a technical foul for his taunt. What happened to being allowed to embarrass an opponent? To hell with sportsmanship!

That’s a mentality the 6-11, 280 pound behemoth certainly seems to possess. He’s a frequent trash-talker despite his status on the league totem pole, and even goaded DeMarcus Cousins with some arrogant words earlier this season.

Also important: Nurkic can play, too. He has a soft touch for a hulking center, understands the nuances of NBA defense better than most first-year players, and leads all rookies in rebound rate. Remember the name – once Nurkic helps to lift the Nuggets from their current abyss, you’ll definitely start to hate it.
