Reminder: Kendrick Perkins was a teammate of Russell Westbrook’s with the Oklahoma City Thunder for nearly five seasons before he was traded at least year’s deadline.
Don’t expect to see this out of basketball’s most intense point guard and Chris Paul come playoff time, basically. There were special circumstances behind this smooch – the least of which, we assume, had to do with Perkins’ naturally hulking frame and mean-mugging overall nature.
