If Kevin Durant had hit this shot in a game of H-O-R-S-E, his opponent would have automatically gotten an H, an O, an R and an S. They wouldn’t have even had the chance to try the shot themselves, because let’s be honest, there’s no way they were going to hit it anyways.
We must also give equal praise to Russell Westbrook’s pass. The accuracy with which he throws that absolute bullet is insane. It’s perfectly placed, and no one but Durant could have gotten to it. It may not be traditional, it may not look all that pretty (although it does look mighty impressive), but darn it if it isn’t effective.
